Abstract

The giving of food can affect the quality of forage production in cattle ruminasia. Forage feed improvement through a process of fermentation on elephant grass generally improves the quality of fodder production generates high basalt, the value of nutrition, and the quality of the meat on the ruminant livestock. Utilization of compost waste that comes from the skin of the fruit of the areca palm (Arenga pinnata) is a versatile plant. It is used in the food industry produces waste fruit skins that can be used as a biomass plant. The existence of the HMT (Forage Forage) as fresh forage preservation called silage is expected to be one of the solutions to overcome the problem of shortage of fresh forage during the difficulties of feeding, besides making silage intended to maintain the quality or even the enhance the quality of the HMT. Fermentation feed full/complete feed (CF)-based forage feed as fodder of ruminants can be applied, either in the household or industrial scale. Full feed technology may be the solution over the question of the quality of the feed and the feed stock. Nutritional value can be set by specifying the number and type of livestock do not mix, the opportunity to choose a feed so that minimize waste feed is not edible, practical, and can be stored for a long time. Application of forage forage feeding in the form of silage grass elephants with enclosure systems maintenance generally produced meat with the juice of impression better than field. Keywords:Arenga pinnata, Ruminansia, nutrition

Abstract

Research studies conducted to analyze the influence of research on the physics- chemical tangerine. This research was conducted in chemistry labolatory of Muhammadiyah University in South Tapanuli. The observed variables change in physical characteristic of the fruit include (texture, weight, brightness of the fruit), the cemical characteristic (moisture content) and the fruit’s shelf life. primary data obtained directly with experiments in chemical labolatories, The observed data  were texture , weight, clour fruit, and fruit’s shelf life at room temperature . To analyze the effect of pelilinan on the physical – chemical characteristic of tangerine was done by ANOVA it was  analyzed with standar deviation and fuadvanceds used BNT test level 5 Keywords : pelilinan, the physical – chemical, tangerine

Abstract

This study aimed to know the effect of science processskills of students and activity among the inquiry training and the conventional learning. This research is quasi-experimental study using pre-test and post-test design. The population of the study was students in Medan. Techniques that used to gain a simple is cluster random sampling, the first was grade as experimental class used the inquiry training model and the second was grade as the control class used the conventional learning. The instruments of this study were the science process skills test. The activity, affective, and psychomotor was used observation sheet. The analysis results that the inquiry training was better than that conventional learning in improving the science process skills of students. Keywords: Inquiry Training, Science Process Skills of Students

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality or durability of mechanical properties with the process of impregnation destilat smoke combination of acrylic acid into the trunks of KKS part edge. The stages are done in this research are: manufacture of destilat smoke 2000C temperature of the outer shell of the fruit of the oil palm, palm oil wood cutting position of the edge of 2, 4, 6, 8 meters from the ground up, with the destilat smoke KKS Impregnation combinations of acrylic acid, testing mechanical properties, Photo SEM and durability. Of research results obtained the maximum density adalah0,75 gr/cm3, Modulus of a broken (MOR) maximum of 283,7 kg/cm2, Elastic Modulus (MOE) 53.289,4 kg/cm2, the shear stress parallel 52,77 kg/cm2. Abstract

AbstractA research has been done about the comparation of the cinnamic acid and benzoic acid content in the frankincenses (Styrax benzoin) quality I, III and V which of obtained from Pangaribuan region (North Tapanuli). The cinnamic acid and benzoic acid content are analyzed by using Gas Chromatography with injection volume 1 µl. The data is analyzed qualitatively by measuring the retention time standard solution, with cinnamic acid and benzoic acid content are determained by using calibration curve with linier regretion from least square method. The result show the cinnamic acid and benzoic acid from the frankincenses class I is 26, 4303 %, and 3,3573 %, frankincenses class III is 26,0270%  and 2,0705%, frankincenses class V is 0,2884% and 1,5916%.Keywords : Frankincenses, cinnamic acid, benzoic acid, Gas Chromatography

Abstract

This research was carried out in SMP N 4 Sipirok. This type of research is quasi experiment with pre test – post test control group design. The population in this study consists of the entire grade VII SMP N Sipirok, sampling is done through sampling purpose technique. Research instrument used is a test of the ability of mathematical reasoning and problem solving. Statistical hypothesis testing in this study using a t-test. An increase in problem-solving ability, the ability to understand the issues, the capabilities of the planned settlement, the ability of doing the calculations, the ability of checking back on experimental class when compared to the control class. Keywords: Problem Solving, PMR.

Abstract

The type of research used in this study is a research experiment. The population in this research is the grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan. Instruments used for data collection is a test of interest in learning chemistry in the form of essays and learning interest of students now. The test results obtained (1) there is a change of interest in learning chemistry being taught through the model of learning computer-assisted inkuiri media on the subject of reaction rates on the now interest the average experimental class students which of the 28 students There are 5 students or 18% interest rate which is at a "very good" category, 18 students or 64% in the category of "good", 5 students 18% in the category of "enough". On the control class's interest now is obtained that the average value of the interest of students which of the 28 students there was 1 person or 4% of the students that the level of interest in being on the category "very good", 10 students or 36% on the "good" category, 16 students or 57% in "enough" category, and 1 person or 4% in the category of "less". So the conclusion drawn interest studied chemistry is taught through the model of computer-aided media learning inkuiri higher than on cooperative learning methods. Keywords: Model Inkuiri, Computer Media, Interest In Learning Chemistry.

Abstract

The idea of this article aims to explain the perception of the importance of teaching skills of PPL students of Mathematics Education Program UGN Padangsidimpuan. This conceptual article is based on observations to one of the schools where the Student conducts the Field Experience Practice (PPL), an interview with one of the teachers, and a literature study on the study of basic skills concepts in teaching mathematics at junior and senior high schools. Based on the discussion of the contents of this article it is concluded that the skills of teaching students PPL Mathematics Education UGN Padangsidimpuan can be said has been applied if most of these skills can be implemented well by students of PPL, ranging from opening and closing lessons to teaching small groups and individuals. So the authors are advised as a material consideration in the future, namely to students who want to implement PPL should improve the ability to understand basic skills of teaching. Students should prepare themselves physically, psychologically and materially so as not to have difficulty while teaching in front of the class and get used to interact well, Lecturers of Mathematics Education should enrich the knowledge of students in understanding basic mathematics or more related to junior high and high school materials , and to the pamong teachers should provide an objective value to the students in accordance with that implemented by PPL students.Keywords: Field Experience Practice, Mathematics Education, teaching skills
